Siding and plumbing stolen from recently vacant Flint rental home
FLINT, Michigan — Aluminum siding and copper plumbing were just some of the items stolen from a recently vacant Flint rental home at 10 a.m. Saturday.A Flint woman told police that her mother, who owns the rental home on Colorado Avenue near Lewis Street, received a call that seven suspects were stealing from her rental home that had only been vacant for two weeks.
The woman said the basement window of the home was broken and the back door had been kicked in. The Consumer's Energy wiring boxes were ripped off the side of the house along with aluminum siding, the hot water heater and copper plumbing from the basement.
The woman said the suspects left a ladder at the scene.
