Wellington hold Birmingham League leaders Barnt Green
Wellington's hopes of winning the Birmingham League faltered despite holding leaders Barnt Green to a draw.
Lying fourth in the Premier Divison, they have fallen to 49 points behind Barnt Green and 34 adrift of Himley.
Shrewsbury fell into the fringes of the relegation fight after failing to beat second-bottom Wolverhampton.
Reman Services continued their relentless march towards the Marston's Shropshire Premier League title with a 119-run victory over Broseley.
For Wellington, Northamptonshire's Bilal Shafayat top-scored with 57 and Simon Khomari added 45 but it took 37 from Martin Delaney and 36 from Wendell Wagner to boost the Shropshire side to 255 after they slipped from 191-4 to 194-7.
In reply, Barnt Green could only get to 250-9, Mark Downes taking 4-65 and Shafayat - who began the innings keeping wicket - removing his pads to finish with 3-38.
Against Shrewsbury Wolverhamptpon scored 250-8 with Alex Blofield taking 3-58.
A stand of 97 for the sixth wicket between Tom Cox (51) and Stephen Barnard (48) kept Shrewsbury in contention, but they finished on 225-9.
Shifnal's relegation worries continued in Division One . Replying to Kenilworth's 234-8 (James Kidson 4-62), Chris Brabazon (53), George Collins (52) and Tom Collins (49) scored well in their 197-7 total, but Shifnal fell short of the victory that would have lifted them out of the bottom two.
Whitchurch consolidated second place in Division Two with victory at Water Orton.
Michael Showell scored 96 in Water Orton's 203 with veteran off-spinner Rod Jones taking 4-44. Richard Oliver (90) and Aqsad Ali (58 not out) wasted no time at all, as they hurried Whitchurch (205-4) to a six-wicket victory.
Bridgnorth are fourth, but missed a big opportunity in losing by three wickets at Eastnor.
In Division Three Oswestry kept their promotion hopes alive but will be rueing not being able to beat Penn.
Joe Clarke (51), Dean Suter (43) and Kevin Evans (42) guided Oswestry to 279-9, but the visitors responded with 249-7.
The surprise result of the day came at Coleshill, where St. George's recorded their first win of the season by 32 runs.
Brendan O'Keefe hit 41 in a St. George's total of 184-9, and then Ben Byram took eight wickets for just 56 runs to dismiss the home team for 152.
In the Marston's Shropshire Premier League, Reman's still continue to set the pace.

Safe Waste in Shropshire: New health study - local campaigner ...
In 2007, Shropshire County Council signed a 27-year contract with the French multinational, Veolia, to manage the county's waste. The contract includes a burner-incinerator at Battlefield, Shrewsbury and a planning application has now gone in for this. The council and Veolia do not like the word 'incinerator', preferring to call it an 'Energy from Waste' plant. This makes incineration sound green. Unfortunately it is not. The whole idea of burning waste is outdated, an unacceptable waste of resources and even the government now admits that it is the worst possible option. Incinerators are being turned down in other parts of the country in favour of greener methods such as anaeorobic digestion and MBT (mechanical biological treatment) in conjunction with better recycling, reduction and recovery methods. None of them involve burning.
