ANDERSON - Zachary anderson, the son of Dana Anderson and Cristina Misa of Gowanda, was named to the dean's list at the School of Humanities and Sciences at Ithaca College.

ANDREW - Ryan Andrew, a freshman sports management major at St. John Fisher College, Rochester, was named to the dean's list for spring 2011. He is the son of Kevin and Annette Andrew of Little Valley.

AUSTIN - Katie Austin of Falconer, earned a bachelor's degree in international studies with a minor in French from Allegheny College, Meadville, Pa.

BRIGGS - Cadet Derek Briggs, the son of Curt and Jane Briggs of Russell, was named to the superintendent's dean's list for the spring semester at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and also earned ''Distinguished Cadet'' academic honors recognition. He is a graduate of Eisenhower Middle-High School, Russell, and will be commissioned second lieutenant in the U.S. Army upon graduation.

BUCK - Kylie Christine Buck, a 2008 graduate of Jamestown High School, was named to the dean's list at the College of Health and Human Development at Penn State University, University Park, Pa. where she is majoring in health policy and administration. She is the daughter of Diane Buck and Mike Buck, both of Jamestown.

CARD - Katelyln Card, of Jamestown, was named to the dean's list at Delaware Valley College, Doylestown, Pa., for spring 2011.

CASS - Katie Cass, the daughter of Stephen and Krista Cass of Frewsburg, was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at the University of South Carolina Honors college. She was also accepted as a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

CIVILETTE - Samantha Civilette of Fredonia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Civilette, earned a bachelor of visual arts with a concentration in studio art, cum laude, from Wells College, Aurora, N.Y. and was also named to the dean's list for the 2011 semester.

EISAMAN - Hannah L. Eisaman, of Fredonia, was named to the dean's list at Hope College, Holland, Mich, for the second semester 2010-11.

FARLEY - Jessica Farley, the daughter of George Farley Jr. and Chun Ha of South Dayton, was named to the dean's list at School of Health Sciences and Human Performance at Ithaca College.

GORMAN - Philip Gorman, of Westfield, earned a bachelor of arts in chemistry from Taylor University, Upland, Ind.

HAAS - Alex Haas of Brocton, earned a bachelor's degree in environmental science with a minor in classic studies from Allegheny College, Meadville, Pa.
